Powerboating trips every Monday evening (weather permitting)
Leaves the NRH at 6.30pm and off the water at 8.00pm.
We also do powerboating trips on Sunday morning 11.30am to 01.00pm

We run basic introductory courses in Powerboating in Dun Laoghaire, Co.Dublin for people with a spinal cord injury. Our boat is specially adapted for wheelchair users to drive.
The Powerboat has become a very important and popular activity in the Spinal Injuries Venture Programme. It is located down in Dun Laoghaire Marina and participants can go on trips around Dublin Bay.
The boat is accessible through a hydraulic lift that will lift you and lower you on to the Rigid Inflatable Boat. Spinal Injuries Ireland provide waterproof gear and life jacket but encourage you to wear warm clothing, it is Ireland after all! The trip lasts about 2 hours taking in a visit to see some shoreline wildlife. Occasionally we are graced with basking sharks and dolphins on warm days.
