| | | | | Q Ball 2010 | | | | | Sandra Tynan & Debra Byrne Lillian & Sarah Macken Megan Molloy & Lisa Allen Paul Goggin, Conchubhar Harrington, Aidan O'Sullivan & Coleman O'Sullivan | The Burlington Hotel was the venue for the sixth running of the legendary Q Ball in aid of Spinal Injuries Ireland. The evening, which was expertly MC’d by Siobhan Bastible of TV3, kicked off with a red and white wine reception kindly sponsored by The Burlington Hotel in Bellini’s bar. Over 500 guests enjoyed a fantastic night, and raised in excess of 60,000 euro for this very worthy cause. Of course the Q ball wouldn’t be the Q ball without the by now infamous after party and this year was no exception. Due to severe cut backs in HSE funding, all the proceeds from the ball will go towards our crucial outreach program. Our 2 outreach workers travel the country visiting our members in their own homes and encourage them to begin the difficult journey back towards an active life as a wheelchair user.
